Help us extend a warm welcome to our newly elected trustees! Brent Dawson, Shawna Gamble, and Larry Williams

Brent was born and raised in northern Kentucky. He attended the University of Louisville on an academic scholarship and graduated with a B.S. in Biology. He then pursued a chiropractic degree at Logan College in Chesterfield, MO and ultimately landed here in Marshall with his family. We're happy to hear him say that he believes Marshall is the perfect place to raise kids.

Shawna works for the City of Battle Creek Community Development Division managing a Countywide Lead-Abatement Grant. She graduated from Albion College with a B.A. in Political Science. She and her husband live in Albion, have two children who graduated from the former Albion High School, a daughter who graduated with the first class of the Albion/Marshall combined district, and two children currently attending Marshall High.

Larry graduated high school and was then selected to be in the Martin Luther King Jr. program at Western Michigan University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Social Work. Larry believes that MPS is providing a quality education for the children who reside within the boundaries of the school district.
